Sharad Malhotra awaits fate of “Ek Tera Saat’
Normally when TV stars makes the switch to films, they go all out. But once bitten twice shy Sharad Malhotra is happy to lie comparatively low during the run up to the launch of his long delayed second film 1:13:7 – Ek Tera Saath.
Sharad had earlier quit TV after his super hit small screen show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann had wrapped up in 2009. However, fate had had other ideas, for his film From Sydney with Love sank without a trace back in 2012.
Since then he has made strong come back to TV with Maharana Pratap and the on air Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki , which is going great guns on Colors. He had finished shooting of the upcoming horror flick a long time back. The makers have finally decided to release the film, but it’s chances seem bleak as there are limited promotions. Also what might really harm the film’s chances are the sheer number of releases (8 in all) on 14th Oct. The fear is most films might get lost in the jostle for screen space and show timings.
In such a scenario, Sharad keeping a low profile makes ample sense
