Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar did not work: Ishita Dutta

Ishita Dutta’s second TV show Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar on Life OK will shut shop very soon. “Unfortunately this show did not run for long. I don’t  want to comment on what and why,  as it all boils down to audiences and TRP’s. We all worked very hard on it, but it is ok. I learnt a lot, getting  to work  with a great cast and also my character Arundhati was indeed interesting. ”
However she does add that had the creative given the show little more time, it just might have clicked. Looking ahead Ishita, the younger sister of Bollywood hottie Tansushree Dutta says,“ I am considering a couple of projects. As you know I have done both TV & hindi films (Drishyam and other south movies). I am open to good projects period. The medium is secondary.”

Ishita has just finished shooting for a festival film with  Pakistani actors for the Dubai market.“ We hope to eventually release in India as well. It will take some time for the final product to be ready. I am optimistic as it has an interesting plot”. She refused to comment on whether the current Indo -Pak tension might affect the film’s chances in India.

In closing we asked  her  on the no dating clause Rishton Ka Saudagar had made them sign. “It  is individual choice some like it, others don’t. Wouldnt like to comment on it”
