My hotel room wasnt haunted – Drashti Dhami

TV superstar Drashti Dhami has denied recent reports of uncanny things happening to her during the recent  Austria schedule of her upcoming  Star Plus show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. Apparently, she felt that a doll was following her. Also the lights in her lift stopped when she entered. She allegedly forced the production unit to change her hotel yet the same “paranormal” stuff happened again.

However, a visibly upset Drashti denied any such incidents. “I will have to go on repeat mode and stress that nothing as such happened. Had it really taken place, I would be demented by now. I don’t know where people get their information and what they make of it. It is precisely due to such things that we avoid talking to  the media for it is upsetting  that false news is being fed to the audiences. For the last time, I did not lose my phone, no one stalked me and I did not change my room nor was it haunted”.
However a source close to the production house (Balaji Telefilms) confirmed that such things did happen.“We wonder why she is denying it”

Can all this be publicity gimmick for the show ?
