Jasmin Bhasin is a lot of fun to be with on sets – Siddharth Shukla

Sidharth Shukla aka Shiv of Balika Vadhu returns to fiction with a love triangle show Dil Se Dil Tak on Colors. Asked as to what made him choose this project as his comeback vehicle he says   “I felt it was an interesting story, which viewers would like to watch.”
He bonds very well both his co- stars Rashmi Desai, who plays his Bengali wife, and the other woman Jasmin Bhasin “But I am closer to Jasmin as she is a lot of fun to be with, all heart. Rashmi, is very easy to work with, & is very flexible. Also she is very helpful in enacting romance scenes, even as a man it is not easy to do them.”
Your and Rashmi characters are shown so much in love, yet third women enters? “Why don’t you watch to find out why??”

In between he had taken a film detour with Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. “I will not do films for the sake of films, I let go of many offers. And off course I will not leave TV, I continued with Balika even while doing the film, for it has taught me acting. I remember my first audition during my modelling days. I even fumbled with my name being low on confidence, everybody was laughing and look at me today. I have also learnt how to shake a leg on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.”

Sidharth has acted in other fiction shows such as Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na and Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi as well. In closing he also clears the air regarding the speculation, that he was replaced from Balika Vadhu due to tantrums.

“If those rumours were true, would the channel take me in two seasons of India Has Got Talent, Khatron Ke  Khiladi and now this show? Guess such false stories are floated by people who can’t do anything with their lives, so want to create a stir in others. Also sometimes such buzz is created to just to publicize the show.”

What about reports that you have something cooking with Jasmin? “Again don’t pay attention to rumours.”
