I have been impulsive with my choice of shows – Additi Gupta

Additi Gupta, who is playing yet another negative role with elan in Star Plus’s popular show Ishqbaaz, regards her last show Pardes Me Hai Mera Dil as a great learning curve. “It taught me a lot about what to not to do. The main thing is I guess, I neeed to be a bit more careful about my choice of projects. I am a bit impulsive & end up making some silly choices. Having said that over all the journey has been fun. I got a chance to travel to Europe. I also made a few good friends over the way.”

She quit the show when it took a leap & Adaa Khan was introduced as another antagonist. However back then she was quoed to have said her role was the same despite the new entry. Overall she had felt shortchanged though.
Looking ahead Additi, who gained fame with shows such as Kis Desh Me Hai Mera Dil, Sanjog se Bani Sangini is open to films as well. “ I am always open to experimenting, the mediums is not important as long as I have a juicy role. But yes I am not comfortable doing risque roles”
Here Additi wishes to clarify that her Wikipedia page wrongly declares that she will be part of an upcoming film Dilldara Junction. “I don’t know who put out this false piece of news. I have also asked my brother to get it edited. I am not doing any film with anyone, especially not Bobby Deol, who is currently more busy DJing”
