I am not comfortable wearing a bikini on screen – Jasmin Bhasin

South film actress Jasmin Bhasin, who made a strong small screen debut with Zee TV’s Tashan-e-Ishq is now looking forward to her  new Colors show Dil Se DilTak. “My character Tani, unlike normal daily soap leads, has lots of shades, she is also over the top. There is a very thin line between overacting and being loud. Hope I am able to do justice to the same.”
Is the character similar to Rani Mukherji’s character in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke? “As the show has  been in the works for a long time, the media has constantly speculated, but the channel / production house (Shashi Sumeet Productions) and me have always kept quite. Why don’t you wait bit more longer and find out for yourself  as the show will go on air on  30th  Jan.  It will replace  Big  Boss on the weekdays at  10.30 pm.”

The show appears to be sort of a love triangle. How would you feel, if your real life guy cheated on you, would you forgive him?  “ Life is not that  simple , there are a host of complications. We need to get ahead in your careers, take care of our parents.  Such  a thing will never happen in life, but if it does I will need to examine how strong our love is and what were the factors, which forced things to change.”

Besides Dil Se Dil Tak, this Punjabi kudi is open to edgy web series as well. “But yes I will draw a line when it comes to donning  bikinis. Of course I  wear 2 piece swim suits during my personal vacations and can carry it off well . It is just that I have inhibitions of doing it in front of an audience.”

Having sad that she is not completely closed to bold scenes ether. “ Writer’s don’t  have an agenda against you, when they write particular scenes,  for them the story is important. If I feel the character justified it and it is in my comfort zone, I will try to accommodate.”
