VANDANA LUTHRA – She is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of VLCC Health Care Ltd. a beauty and wellness conglomerate represented in Asia, the GCC and Africa.
She is also the Chairperson of the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC), an initiative that provides training under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana scheme.
She was honored by the Government of India in 2013 with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, for her contribution to the fields of trade and industry.
Her labour of love, the ‘VLCC’ has acquired mythical fame since it went global in 2006, when its first centre abroad was opened up in Dubai. Since then, it has spread like a blizzard over hundreds of locations all over the world. She has come up with a unique blend of Beauty, Fitness & Health in a Holistic mode of treatment for her clients.
Besides, she has deeply philanthropic leanings as well, like, adopting the orphanage, ‘Hamara Ghar’, or bonding with the NGO, ‘Khushi’ for Women Empowerment in distant villages.
