SRIDEVI- Born Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, was a legendary Indian actress and producer who worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
She started as a child artist in the Tamil film “Kandhan Karunai”. She made her debut as a lead actress in the Tamil film “Moondru Mudichu” and went on to become one of the most iconic and influential actresses in Indian cinema. Starring in numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including “Sadma”, “Mr. India” “Chandni” and, “Lamhe” (to name a few. She was known for her versatility as an actress, effortlessly transitioning between roles in various genres, including drama, comedy, and romance.
Throughout her career, she received several awards and accolades, including the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award, in 2013.
