Joshna Chinappa

Joshna ChinappaSports–Squash (Karnataka, India) 2006

JOSHNA CHINAPPA – She is an Indian professional squash player. In a count of India’s all-time greats, the name of Field Marshall K.M. Cariappa, the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army would be very high. However, this is to talk about another glory of the Cariappa family – and that is his great granddaughter, who has scaled unimaginable horizons in ‘Squash’. Since the earliest on, nothing had mattered more to her than Squash, not even Studies. At the age of 14, she was crowned the ‘Youngest Senior National Champion’ and became the first Indian to win the prestigious ‘British Junior Squash Open’ in 2005.

And she is Champ of Champs…!
