Divyanka Tripathi’s favourite freedom fighter!

Divyanka Tripathi who plays Ishita in  Yeh Hai Mohabbatein would like to paly the character of Sarojini Naidu on television. She says, “Among the freedom fighters,  I would like to play Sarojini Naidu some day. The ‘nightingale of India’ has been a beacon of inspiration to many women. At a time when women were oppressed, she was one of the first few women who stepped out and took the reins of leadership. She displayed some rare qualities.If I get to play her, I am sure I will be able to showcase multi facets of this character. Her one side is that of a fighter, the other, of a poetess! There’s a beauty in this mix”.
