Amruta Khanvilkar wont do Bigg Boss till hubby Himanshoo says yes

Amruta Khanvilkar, who is doing 24 season 2 and Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza is a very agyakari Indian wife. She is refusing to take part in big  ticket reality show Bigg Boss for her husband Himmanshoo A. Malhotra says no. “They  have been approaching me since the past  two seasons but  hubby does not like it and I  don’t do anything against his wishes. Whenever we broach the subject he just says an emphatic no.”

When asked as to why he is saying no, this Marathi mulgi says,“ I guess he is very protective.  I am very impulsive as you must have seen during my Nach Baliye days (She and Himanshoo had won Nach Baliye 7). I will say what  I have to, be it good or bad . He also feels he will not be there to protect me. Even if we go in together, one of us  will have to come out sooner or later. We have wed after 12 years of courtship and I don’t want to do anything to spoil the game.”

Amruta also feels that marriage has really helped to boost her career “Apart from Marathi films (her latest flick just got released), I got a very strong role in  24 (Antara Mane-Shinde) and now getting a chance  showcase my comic side inComedy Nights Bachao  Taaza, what more can I ask for?”

But we have not seen  Himmanshoo  do much on TV since Nach Baliye? “Well as you know his  Delhi based dad passed away a while back and he needs to take care of his family business as well.”
