KISHORI AMONKAR – Born to the legendary Classical Vocalist Mogubai Kurdikar, Kishoritai inherited a legacy of music that ran deep in her veins. Her rendezvous with fame came through the renowned director V. Shantaram, who featured her in the hit title song of his film ‘Geet Gaya Patharon Ne’. However, Kishoritai remained aloof from the commercial music scene, finding solace and fulfillment in her spiritual connection to music.
